- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; and is hereby attached. The solicitation number is FA6656-09-T-0008 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-32. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All submittals must be completed using the attached solicitation document. This is a brand name or equal request. All vendors proposing alternate items shall provide with their quote adequate descriptions and specificatios of alternate items to substantiate the "or equal" designation. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) under FAR Part 13. Offers are due no later than 4:00PM EST on 21 September 2009. Quotes can be mail to: 910th MSG/CONF BLDG 504, ATTN: Angela Hyser, Youngstown Air Reserve Station, 3976 King Graves RD-Unit 31, Vienna, Ohio 44473-5931 or e-mail to: angela.hyser@youngstown.af.mil. The preferred method is e-mail. There will be a site visit on Tuesday, 15 September 2009 at 9:00AM EST. The site visit will take place at Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna, Ohio. Interested parties will meet at the main gate visitor center 30 minutes prior for the issuance of visitor passes. Please have a drivers license or picture ID available. Attendance is strongly recommended as pertinent information is exchanged during the site visit and minutes will not be posted. Interested offerors shall notify me of intent to attend the site visit no later than Thursday, 10 September 2009 by 3:00PM EST. Please e-mail: angela.hyser@youngstown.af.mil to RSVP for the site visit. Funds are not presently available for this solicitation. No award will be made until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after RFQ closing, with no obligation to the offeror by the government.
