- Description
- The US Army is developing Soldier System technologies to support small unit operations as part of a networked Soldier system of systems. These networked Soldiers will function across a broad spectrum of future Army operations ranging from peace keeping and small unit battles through major theater of war operations, anywhere, anytime, and with limited support. These Soldiers will be enabled by networked voice and data communications, sensor fields, and unmanned aerial vehicles. They will fight while mounted and dismounted with Brigade Combat Teams1 or as standalone units.
