- This is a notice of intent to issue an order to 5D Information Management, Inc. 400 Wood Road, Braintree, MA 02184-2486, on a sole source basis under the authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996 as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(ii). The proposed procurement is for the renewal of Surround System Software (including IDM Surround Software Upgrades, and IDM Surround Software Maintenance). Period of performance: Base and four Options 2009-2013; estimated dollar value is $235,080.00 and is subject to availability of FY10 funds. The reason for the sole source award is that the software by the 5D Information Management, Inc. is proprietary and cannot be serviced, maintenance, or provided by any other company. Response date is 11 September 09 1430 CST. This acquisition will be a firm fixed price contract conducted utilizing procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. The NAICS code is 511210 and the applicable small business size standard is $23.0M. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding within 1 day after date of electronic publication of this synopsis. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
