Description
The Naval Air Systems Command requests a proposal for a firm fixed- priced purchase order to acquire (2) Data Acquisition Systems. The data acquisition system is being procured for on-aircraft testing. In specific, this system gives the project engineer the capability of recording data on the aircraft during flight without the need of aircraft power. The software will be used with a data acquisition system in order to calculate voltage, current, frequency and power measurements during electrical testing. This software will supply real time data calculations during the full test. This data acquisition system will have an increased means of portability from any other system that we have for recording electrical data from an aircraft. This system will be capable of recording 32 channels of data on the hard drive without needing electrical power from the aircraft or a ground cart. This will be done by battery power internal to the case of the acquisition system. The software will be capable of measuring all data from the main electrical systems of all aircraft in the Navy. This will provide the capability of calculating, displaying and recording power measurements during an electrical test of an aircraft. This software will add the capability of displaying all power measurements live during the testing. Some of the measurements are resistive and reactive power including the power factor of the electrical system being monitored. Without this software, the power and electrical calculations must be done after the testing or utilize additional pieces of equipment. Minimal equipment is necessary for tests on the aircraft so that you can get on and off troubleshooting in the least amount of time. Additional requirements are provided in the attached statement of work.
