- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment,supervision necessary to complete Project RA679-09-108 Upgrade QualityManagement and Pharmacy at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs MedicalCenter in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Contractor shall provide completelyprepare site for building operations, including demolition and removalof existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and perform workfor basement level and ground floor renovations of Building 135 at theTuscaloosa VA Medical Center as required by drawings and specifications.All work of the main bid item (ie. demolition, construction,alterations, mechanical and electrical systems, etc.), shall includeboth the Basement floor and the Ground floor of Building 135 as perdrawings and specifications. Work will also include generalconstruction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utilitysystems, necessary removal of existing structures and construction andcertain other items. The estimated dollar value of construction isbetween $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Estimated solicitation issuedate is on/about October 9, 2009, with an estimated bid opening date ofNovember 9, 2009. The National American Industry Classification System(NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220 with a size standard of$33.5 million. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLEDVETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSB). All solicitation packages willbe available for downloading from the website www.fedbizopps.gov.
