- Description
- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency (FAR 6.302-5); specifically, Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J&A is not required for this award. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor and materials for the construction of 74 Relief Wells to include drilling, installion and testing of relief wells and related equipment, installation of concrete-filled steel pipe guard posts, outlet swales and collector ditches, establishment of turf, and environmental protection. The work shall be located immediately landside of the Mississippi Mainline Levee located west of Tunica, MS
