- Overton Brooks VA Medical Center located in Shreveport LA, intends to issue a Sole Source order for the Preventive Maintenance on government-owned mail equipment, Model DW00 US WOW DM 1000 Mailing Machine, including one year of Softguard protection, a 70/150 lb scale platform, Model MP 49 and Galaxy/DM Power Stacker, Model U7PS. According to the end user, Pitney Bowes, Inc., is the only company that can provide the required maintenance on this equipment. Contract is for a one-year period from October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010. Anticipated issue date is September 23, 2009 and anticipated date for receipt of offer is September 28, 2009. The solicitation is to be issued as a Sole Source under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333313. The size standard is 1,000 employees. This information is only used for classification purposes in the representation and certification portion of the Request for Quotation (RFQ).
