- RFP 309th AMXG will purchase all test equipment, drawings, instructions, specifications, and software as the Government intends to issue a sole source contract the contractor (Eclypse International Corporation). Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government intends to issue a sole source contract The contractor (Eclypse International Corporation) will provide Service Life Extension Program and Precision Engagement packages for the A-10 weapon system, Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation will posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ under solicitation number FA8224-09-R-0120 on or around September 8, 2009. This requirement is considered sole source due to the fact that SPO requires that the Precision Engagement (SLEP/PE) Modification wiring configuration be verfied and functional to prevent a work staopage. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334290 (All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 750. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and all other interested contractors shall submit a capabilities document which states their abilities on fulfilling this requirement. Responses should be submitted by 10:00 am MST on September 23, 2009.
