Description
PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT TO REPLACE EXISTING GLYCOL UNITS BLDG 25 Langley AFB, VA 23665 Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide non-personal services to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, testing and supervision to remove and replace 4 existing Glycol Condensing units and all the associated components in Bldg 25. 1. Removal: Remove 4 existing outdoor condenser units and 4 existing glycol cooled indoor condensing units. Contractor shall recover all the glycol from the existing units and dispose of according to all Federal, State and local requirements. 1.1. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment to remove units from the roof of B25. The contractor shall dispose of all removed material, parts and system components in accordance to all Federal, State and local requirements. 2. Replacement: The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment to: 2.1. Install 4 new Data Aire Model DAFC-4034 nominal 40 ton fluid condensers with factory mounted, wired and piped glycol pumps, pump enclosures and 10 gallon expansion tanks. 2.2. Install 4 Data Aire Model DAGD-1634 nominal 16 ton glycol cooled condensing units with downflow airflow, hot water reheat, 3-way water regulating valves, floorstands with turning vanes, vibration isolation pads and 4 inch 60% efficiency filters with 1 inch prefilters. Voltage is 460/60/3. 3. Inspection: The contractor shall test all equipment for but not limited to leaks, freeze protection and flow. The contractor shall provide system specifications and written test results to the government representative prior to inspection. All work will be inspected by 1 CES prior to acceptance. 4. Warranty: Standard warranty is for this type of work is one year parts and labor.
