- SOLICITATION NOTICE: The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB, CO is planning to release a solicitation for the maintenance of Data Communication Devices (DCD). The Data Communication Devices are scalable mobile Multi-Network communications packages that securely and simultaneously extend garrison classified networks, unclassified networks, video and telephone capabilities worldwide via multiple transmission paths. The contractor shall provide all personnel, management, tools, materials, equipment, freight and labor necessary to inspect, maintain, and repair Data Communications Devices (DCD) -Instrument (INS) v4, INSv3, and the base station used by NORAD and USNORTHCOM (N-NC) Commander at N-NC Headquarters in Colorado Springs Colorado as part of the Combatant Commander's Information technologies (CCIT) team's Joint Enrooted Mission Planning and Rehearsal System (JEMPRS) Kit. The required maintenance involves maintenance at both Peterson AFB and at deployed locations. Potential contractors are required to have a SECRET clearance. The solicitation will be released on or about 11 September 2009. The solicitation, FA2517-09-R-5012, will be conducted under FULL AND OPEN competition and will result in award of one Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The period of performance will consist of one base-year and four one-year options. The North American Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811213, with a small business standard of $7 million. The evaluation terms for award shall be lowest price meeting the SOW requirements. The solicitation and all related documents will be posted on www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments and other general information, will be distributed solely through the above referenced site. Potential contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
