- THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The VISN 19 Rocky Mountain Network Contracting Center, 4100 E. Mississippi Ave, Glendale CO is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; (2) Veteran Owned Small Business; or (3) Small or emerging small business firms to set aside a single award contract. The Government will use responses to this notice to make to appropriate acquisition decision. The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, supplies and equipment necessary to provide on-site scheduled preventive maintenance, quarterly, and on-site unscheduled maintenance, (within four hours of notification by the VA) as required, for nine (9) Datex-Ohmeda model 7900 anesthesia units and one (1) Datex-Ohmeda model S/5AISYS anesthesia unit for the Veteran Administration (VA) Medical Center, 1055 Clermont Street Denver Colorado 80220. Qualified contractors shall have a demonstrated record of performing maintenance on Datex-Ohmeda anesthesia units and personnel currently certified and qualified to repair Datex-Ohmeda anesthesia equipment. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with information describing their interest, capabilities, geographic location and indicate which small business category for which they qualify to the Contract Specialist Matt Ake no later than 3:00 p.m. (Mountain Time), September 18, 2009. Solicitation VA-259-09-RP-0300 - ANESTHESIA MAINTENANCE has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The NAICS Code 811219 is applicable to this acquisition, the size standard for a firm to be considered has an Emerging Small Business is no greater than 50 percent of NAICS Code with a Business Size Standard of $7.0 M. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
