- The proposed contract action is for commercial item(s), which the Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit this requirement on a sole source basis to Entrigue Surgical Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302. This is a presolicitation notice for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation; quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-09-T-0546 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 339112. All interested bidders shall submit quotations electronically by email to melisa.aguon@med.navy.mil or by facsimile at 619-532-5922, attention Melisa Aguon. E-mail submissions are limited to 2MB. Furthermore, the Otolaryngology DepartmentSole Source letter states that the product of this requirement is a patented unique brand exclusively capable of bending ata total of 220 degrees required to reach sinus cavities essential to fulfill their surgical requirements."
