- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. Solicitation W912L209T0020 is being issued as a Request for Quotation This combined synopsis/solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code that applies is 811121 and business size is $7,000,000.00. This requirement is for Paint four R-11 Fuel Trucks at the 162nd Fighter Wing Vehicle Management Section, 1500 E Valencia Rd, Building 5, Tucson, AZ, 85706. The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items and services necessary to paint fuel trucks to be picked up at the Arizona Air National Guard Base, 162nd Fighter Wing, 1500 E Valencia Rd, Building 5, Tucson, AZ, 85706. This shall cover the period set forth in the contract. Contractor will contact Government POC no less than one week prior to performance of contracted work to arrange access and vehicle down time. Fuel truck refinish time shall not exceed three weeks. Normal work hours of the Tucson Arizona Air National Guard are 6:15am to 3pm. An organized site visit has been scheduled for this requirement at 08:00 am, Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the 162nd Fighter Wing, Arizona Air National Guard, 1500 E Valencia, Tucson, AZ 85706. Participants will meet in the base contracting office, building 9, room S201. Interested parties are urged to attend to inspect the site and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect costs, to the extent that the information is reasonable obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after award. The Government will make an award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the most advantageous to the government. Terms of the solicitation and specification remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgement and receipt of solicitation shall apply. Award can only be made to contractors registered in Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov). Acceptance shall be at Destination. Shipping shall be FOB Destination to Tucson, AZ 85706 Attached provisions and clauses will be incorporated by reference or by full text as appropriate.
