Description
This is a re-competition to Solicitation # F2DCCR9180A001. The re-competition is necessary to support an increase in scope of work and provide a clearer definition of the course requirements. The awardees will be selected based on lowest cost technically acceptable in all course requirements. This pre-solicitation defines the non-personal services requirements for training, testing, and successful certification in: • International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc.(ISC2) authorized) CISSP; • Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) authorized A+; • And Security+ at Hill AFB, Utah. The vendor will include all preparatory study materials, pre-training evaluation testing, training, post training/pre-certification testing, required to enable the student to have the best opportunity to achieve certification, culminating in the vendor provided and authorized ISC2, Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) authorized A+ and Security+ certification, testing. Vendor will provide a qualified instructor to administer all classroom training and provide all study and reference material, pre and post evaluations and classroom training required to enable the student to successfully pass the certification test. An instructor is minimally qualified if they hold a current certification of the class they are teaching. Additionally, it is highly desirable that the instructor have experience in working with companies or on projects that required that certification. It is also highly desirable that the instructor have experience and ability in teaching, interpersonal communication, and testing. Lastly, it would be desirable if the instructor has had experience in working Air Force or other military systems so the instructor would be able to relate the study material, classroom training, and testing to our current environment. Vendor must be able to access all training aids without internet access or use of USB flash drives. All training and certification testing will be conducted at Hill AFB.
