- J&A 6.302-1(c) F4AT859181A001 PDF file NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD -- The 325th Contracting Squadron intends to procure on a sole-source purchase basis from General Dynamics, 8201 East McDowell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, the purchase of 4 UPA-50 Power Amplifiers, and 4 URM-100/UPK-50 mounting kits. General Dynamics is the only know manufacturer of the items. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement. Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 18 September 2009. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29 effective 14 November, 2008 and DFARS Change Notice 20081218.
