- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number (see above) is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-36. The NAICS is 333314 and the business size standard is 500 employees.The US Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Providence, Rhode Island (VAMC Providence, facility 650) has a requirement for an integrated research Inverted Microscope, computer, software, display, control units and associated micromanipulators for patch clamp. Contract item number(s) and items, quantities and units are as follows. All items are to be included in the offer. Incomplete offers will not be considered. All items are Brand Name or equal.
