- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z4539182A002; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36 effective 11 Aug 09, Defense DCN 20090729 effective 29 Jul 09, and AFAC 2009-0318 effective 18 March 2009. This acquisition is unrestricted; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111. The business size standard is 1,000. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 7035. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for a power vault TL4000 0001-AA PowerVault TL4000, 4U Library,LTO4-120-120, 800GB/1.6TB, 2 SAS Drives Two SAS cables, 4 meter connects Tape Device to SAS HBAs Symantec Backup Exec v12.5 Multi-Server Suite Hardware Warranty Plus OnSite Service Initial YR Hardware Warranty, Extended Year(s) Mission Critical Package: 4-Hour 7x24 On-Site Service with Emergency Dispatch, Initial Year Mission Critical Package: 4-Hour 7x24 On-Site Service with Emergency Dispatch, 2 Year Extended ProSupport for IT: 7x24 HW / SW Tech Support and Assistance for Certified IT Staff, 3 Year MISSION CRITICAL PACKAGE: Enhanced Services, 3 Year On-Site Installation Declined Redundant Power for TL4000 Tape Media for LTO4-120 tape 800GB/1.6TB, 50 Pack LTO4-120 Tape Labels, 61 to 120 **Contract award will include the migration of existing database files (Microsoft SQL) to new system format. Data integrity must be kept intact with all previous record retrievable in the original format. All forms created in previous system must be migrated to new platform.
