Description

The National Institutes of Health, National Institutes of Nursing Research (NINR), Bethesda, MD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Illumina Inc., San Diego, CA 92121, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)-- Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The procurement is for one (1) TMG 186968 PE Module. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 with a corresponding size standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability. Respond to this requirement by submitting written capabilities/specifications to the Contract Specialist via email at holleyv@od.nih.gov. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within 10 days from the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 10 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, the order will be issued to Illumina, Inc. There is no soliciation available. Telehone inquiries will not be accepted.
