- NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following commercialservice: Management and operation of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex under aconcession agreement. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 713110 and $7 Million,respectively.The anticipated release date of the FINAL RFP is on or about September 4, 2009, with ananticipated due date of on or about November 4, 2009. NASA/KSC contemplates award of asingle, concession agreement, with a 10-year base period of performance and 6 optionperiods, for a total potential period of performance of 20 years resulting from the FINALRFP. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by theagency. Note:An interested parties list and current library of information can beobtained via the internet at the following address: http://kscvc.ksc.nasa.govAll contractual and technical questions in response to the FINAL RFP must be submitted inwriting (e-mail) to the recipient identified in the FINAL RFP not later than the due datespecified in the FINAL RFP. Telephone questions will not be accepted.NOTE: ALLRESPONSES MUST REFERENCE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF THE E-MAIL.Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It isthe offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of thesolicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible fordownloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
