Attachment 1-Acronyms found throughout solicitation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation and all supporting information are included in this posting and the attached documents. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) with a solicitation number of SSA-RFQ-10-1011. The solicitation document an the incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect though Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 36. THIS PROCUREMENT IS ISSUED AS A 100% COMPETITIVE 8(A) SET ASIDE RFQ. The applicable NAICS code is 493110 and the size standard is $23.5 million. The Contractor shall perform various warehouse, transportation, moving, and furniture repair services for the Social Security Administration's (SSA), Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR), Property Management Branch (PMB) in Falls Church, VA & Springfield, VA. Services will be performed throughout Virginia, Baltimore, MD and the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. The following provisions apply to this requirement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (JUNE 2008), FAR 52,212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (AUG. 2009), the contractor shall provided a signed and completed copy of the provision with offer which is available in Section F of the solicitation, FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (MAR 2009), and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (AUG 2009). Requests for copies of the solicitation package by any other means will not be honored. All information pertaining to this solicitation and requirement are attached to this combined synopsis/solicitation. The attached document titled, SSA-RFQ-10-1011 includes pricing information, the statement of work, terms and conditions, instructions to the contractor, evaluation information, and solicitation provisions FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (AUG 2009). Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Contractors are encouraged to obtain further information on the CCR registration at the following website: http://www.ccr.gov/. This announcement does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any quotation preparation costs.
