- Amendment 1 page 2 Amendment 1 page 1 Project includes roadway shaping, brushing, culvert installation, limited gabion wall and roadbed stabilization, surface drainage, open top installation, and limited aggregate haul and placement on steep narrow mountain roads. Roads are located on the Salmon River breaks south of the town of Dixie, Idaho. Aggregate to be supplied from existing Government stockpile located at Dixie Summit. Work on road 222 is reached by traveling approximately 6 miles south of Dixie (75 miles southeast of Grangeville, ID via SH 14 and County Road 222) to Dixie Guard Station. Work begins immediately south of the guard station and proceeds approximately 18 miles to the Salmon River near Mackey Bar. Work on road 421 is reached by traveling to Dixie Summit and then across Jack Mountain road (1190) to road 421 (Whitewater road). Proceed down road 421 11 miles to Vista point. Work begins at Vista point and extends 6 miles to the Salmon River near Whitewater Ranch. Estimated price range for the project: $100,000-$250,000. All work shall be completed by September 30, 2010. Solicitation issued 8/20/09. Solicitation amended 9/4/09. Offerors must sign and submit a copy of the amendment with their offer. Response due date was not extended.
