- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC-PCD) intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Hydroid, Inc., of Pocasset, MA for the maintenance and repair of two REMUS Vehicles. This purchase is unsuitable for full and open competition for the following reasons: All data, maintenance, tools, etc related to these vehicles is considered proprietary and exclusive to Hydroid, Inc. Hydroid, Inc is the manufacturer of this item. No other vendor can perform this work due to the proprietorship of the data, maintenance procedures and specialty tools. Anticipated award date will be on or about 14 Sep 09.
