- The US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service in Corvallis, OR has a requirement for a Bartz Technology BTC 100x Minirhizotron Camera System. BTC 1- Cap Image Capture System and BTC/Smucker Indexing handle system fits 2-inch Dia tubes. The USDA already has instruments from Bartz Technology for researching roots while still in the ground and we wish to expand our capabilities with the purchase of this camera system. The USDA intends on negotiating with the only known source Bartz Technology. Interested firms are encouraged to submit proposals to the attention of Fred Gifford as listed in this notice. See numbered note 22 FAR Part 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 apply
