- THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CORRECT PRICE RANGE AS SHOWN BELOW. The work shall include, but not limited to, supplying all materials, labor and incidental items necessary to recondition approximately 14 miles of existing roads and ditches, gravel and apply magnesium chloride to approximately 14 miles of roadway, construct informative signing along bird tour route, construct one (1) interpretive kiosk site and construct eight (8) interpretive pullouts with associated signing, ditching, surfacing, barrier rocks, seating rocks, cobble, grading, and earthwork. The price range is Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required per the Miller Act and Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calloing 888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov//. A prebid tour will be held on September 28, 2009 at 10:00AM. Interested contractors are to meet at the Crow Valley Campground.
