- Complete solicitation including PWS etc This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for equipment, software, and labor to upgrade an existing Early Warning Intrusion Detection System (EWIDS) and purchase and install additional site security equipment. It is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation on FedBizOpps; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4620-09-Q-A100 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 12 and 13.5. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36 effective 11 Aug 2009. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334290. Small business size standard is 750 emolyees. This acquisition is unrestricted. Unit Small Business Specialist is Major Michael S. Watson (509-247-4879); link to USAF Small Business, http://www.selltoairforce.org; link to SBA http://sba.gov. Performance period for this acquisition is 90 days from date of award. Any contractor wishing to make a bid on the above mentioned project, must be willing/capable of fulfilling a follow-on contract for maintenance and surveillance of the entire EWIDS system. Work shall be performed in accordance with the attached Performance-based Work Statement. A site visit is scheduled to be held on 11 September 2009 at 9:00 AM Pacific Daylight Savings Time. The meeting will begin in the main conference room of the 92d Contracting Squadron. Please contact Lt Stuart Perlow, at 509-247-4876, prior to the site visit, so that he may make arrangements for any contractor personnel to come onto base. Quotes are due no later than 18 September 2009 at 1:00 PM Pacific Daylight Savings Time. A complete copy of the solicitation is attached.
