- Location: Naval Special Warfare Group 1 Title: YELLOWJACKET 802.11 B/A/N/G TABLET WITH HARDWARE Description(s): Added: Sep 04, 2009 12:57 pm This is a Sole Source announcement. No hard copy RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. The Government intends to award on a firm fixed price contract to Berkeley Varitionics Systems Inc., 255 Liberty Street, Metuchen, NJ, for the purchase of; Twenty four (24) Yellowjacket BANG 802.11, 2.4 GHZ Omni Antenna with SMA Male Connector, 4.940-5.9 GHZ Omni Antenna with SMA Male Connector, DC transformer, Rugged Yellow Case to hold the Parts and Accessories, Yellowjacket User Manuel, Calibration Certificate, Pre-installed Yellowjacket Software, External GPS Active Antenna, Integrated HP IPAQ Pocket PC Model Hx2700 with Cradle and Software. BVS Warranty includes: One Year Full Warranty, One Year Free Calibration, Free Customer Support, and four (4) free quarterly firmware upgrades for each Spectrum Analyzer. In addition to the parts and accessories supplied with the Yellowjacket BANG Spectrum Analyzer, the client has requested additional parts and accessories in order to fulfill the mission requirement. The parts and accessories are: GHz Antennas in various range, 12V DC Car Adapters, External Battery Pack, Swarm Mapping Software for Site Survey, PC Viewer and a Yellowjacket BAG Remote PC Monitor. BVS Spectrum Analyzers are proprietary and unique due to the patented hardware design, calibration and algorithms within the Yellowjacket Bang 802.11 Spectrum Analyzers. BVS is the only Manufacturer that is known to produce a Spectrum Analyzer with a directional antenna attachment when tracking down devices, as it’s much more accurate than the typical Omni directional antenna and has the only calibrated hardware on the market that provides 100% accuracy during operations. The supplies will be awarded in accordance with Simplified Acquisition procedures, FAR Part 13. The supplies are specifically designed, manufactured and produced by Berkeley Varitronics System, Inc. The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within three days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
