- Cage Washer RequirementsFor Animal Laboratory Use The Department of Veterans Affairs Boise Idaho has a requirement for a heavy duty, walk-in large capacity hydrospray cage and rack washer as stated in the solicitation. Unit must be designed for thorough cleaning of cages, racks, debris pans, bottles, and miscellaneous items used in the care of laboratory animals. Work includes removal of existing equipment to include disconnecting all utilities, tear down of unit into components, removal to a pre-determined on-site location and pick-up by vendor within 5 working days after removal The scope of work includes but is not limited to the unpackaging, moving, assembly of components, installation and set-up of new unit. This is a pre-solicitation notice, the solicitation is expected to be posted via fed biz on or about 9/5/2009.
