Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a fixed rate purchase order for commerical items. The proposed sole source purchase order is for maintenance and repair services for Knoll systems furniture that has been in use in the HUD Atlanta office for some time; the contractor will also continue to store unused components for possible future use. Under the authority at FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), the Government is soliciting only one source, Corporte Environments, the only authorized Knoll dealer in the Atlanta metro area. A solicitation document will not be issued for this requirement and proposals are not being requested. The determination by the Government not to compete the purchase order based upon any responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The purchase order will contain all clauses currently prescribed for purchase orders for commercial items by the FAR.
