- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, VISN 7 contemplates negotiation of sole source procurement with Saniglaze International, Inc., 4526 Lenox Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32205 to provide restoration of restroom tile and grout to the CAVHCS VA Medical Center, Central Alabama. Commercial Floor Care is the exclusive SaniGLAZE franchise for the Central Alabama market area in accordance with the exclusive agreement from SaniGLAZE. SaniGLAZE is a proprietary process that requires proprietary products and specialized training that can only be provided by a SaniGLAZE dealer. The period of performance for this procurement will be 15 September 2009 through 31 December 2009. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 444190 with a size standard of $7 million. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A)and(B), only one responsible source. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents will be issued. Firms that believe they can meet the VA's requirements must submit proof to the Contracting Officer no later within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
