Description
RFQ- Dining Facility SOW/ Dining Facility COMBINED SYNOPSIS - SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603 (c)) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M3V49179A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36, Effective 11 Aug 2009 (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 337215 with a 500 employee size standard. (v) Contractors shall submit a lump sum quote with itemized list: Qty -1, CLIN 0001, to rebuild or refurbish cabinetry in the serving area of the dining facility, to include drink cabinets, serving lines, cashier stations, salad bar and hot bars. (See statement of work). A site visit will be conducted on 09 Sep 09 at 9:00 am. All contractors shall meet at the Charleston AFB visitor's center on Dorchester Road no later than 8:50 am. Site visit is not mandatory but highly recommended; Contact, Brandi Shellhammer, at 843-963-5165 or email at brandi.shellhammer@charleston.af.mil. NLT 8 Sep 09 with the names of all who plan to attend. You must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration to get on base. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. (vi) F1M3V49179A001 Rebuild or refurbish cabinetry in the serving area of the dining facility on Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina. (See attached statement of work) (vii) FOB destination. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in the following relative order of importance: 1.Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. 2. Price. The Government will evaluate the total price of the offer for the award purposes.
