- 26 Aug 2009 - Projected release date for RFP is estimated at 30 Sep 2009 withproposals due 30 Oct 2009. 13 Aug 2009 - With respect to the current Standard Labor Categories forprofessional categories all require degrees and do not allow for experiencequalifications in lieu of degrees. That being said, as always, there areexceptions to the rule. If, after award of the contract, the successfulofferor can provide convincing extenuating circumstances, includingextensive experience, that they believe warrants a waiver to the requirementof a degree for a particular person, then the COR "may" grant a waiver. Istress the word "may". It is not a requirement. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Atlantic (SSC-LANT) requiresJoint Intelligence Engineering and Maintenance Support to include design,engineering, installation, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT)systems, networks, and equipment that support intelligence and securitymissions. However, the support will not include any activities related directlyto intelligence collection, analysis, development of intelligence products, orreporting.a. The areas of support include the following:Program, Project and Acquisition Management Support (Para 3.1);Material and Equipment Procurement (Para 3.2); Engineering and TestSupport (Para 3.3); Installation and Maintenance (Para 3.4); InformationTechnology (IT) Systems Administration Support (Para 3.5); ITHelp Desk Support (Para 3.6); Telephone Support (Para 3.7).
