Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-32. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside, NAICS 238990, with a small business size standard of $14.0 million dollars. The National Park Service encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, and women-owned businesses. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whose total offer represents the best value for the Government. Prices must include all costs for all work as shown. Gateway National Recreation Area has a requirement for service to removal, repalcement and installation of all chain-link fenceing from specified backstop and team dugout fences. Documents to be included in proposal; Detailed item description and detailed specifications. Three (3) References of similar services performed in last three years. In addition, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, must be completed on-line at www://orca.bpn.gov. FAR provisions/clauses listed below apply. The deadline for receipt of quotes is September 2, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Quotes may be submitted on letterhead or the Standard Form 1449, and must include, at a minimum, unit price for each item, extended price, item description as detailed above, three past performance references within the past three years, prompt payment and warranty terms, whether you will accept payment by MasterCard, name, phone number, and address of your point of contact. Statement of WorkMiller Field Backstop RepairsThis work is to be performed on the SB3 and SB4 fields, located in the Miller Field District, Staten Island Unit, Gateway NRA, Staten Island, NY.The contractor will:"Remove all chain-link fencing material from specified backstop and team dugout fences. All signage shall be removed, protected from damage and saved for re-installment. "Replace any marked (orange) posts/rails with new posts/railing to match remaining structural elements, on specified backstops and team dugout fences prior to installing fencing material."Provide and install new galvanized chain-link fencing material to match existing mesh size (2") including all connecting galvanized hardware on specified backstops and team dugout fences. Re-install all signage in their original positions. "Provide latex metal covering, aluminum color paint. Paint will have zero VOC (volatile organic compounds) and zero HAPs (Hazardous Air Pollutants). Paint all replaced rails and posts, before installing the new chain-link fencing.
