Description
Request for Quote Essential Characteristics: The Contractor shall provide a subscription to the Health Devices System, Healthcare Product Comparison System and Health Devices Sourcebase required for Navy medical treatment facilities to be able to identify potential sources of supply for any medical supply items, as well as the data necessary to correctly identify a product with an ECRI Device Code for input into a standardized database. The Contactor shall access at all MTF’s listed in Attachment 1, also referred to as the “Navy Sites”. Supscription DESCRIPTION. The Contractor shall provide access to a Web site of ECRI with options to access the services available in the Health Devices Gold package for the US Navy. Included in the subscription is access to Health Devices System, Health Produce Comparison System, and Health Devices Sourcebase for 19 Navy shore based medical care facilities. These sites are specifically listed in Attachment 1. A help desk email and or phone number will be provided 24 hours per day for promptly resolving registrants’ inability to access entitled databases.services. CONTINUITY OF SERVICES The performance period shall begin on or about 30 August 2009, NOT on the fiscal year. i.e.: the period of this contract will be from 30 Aug 09 and run through 29 Aug 2010. If routine services are disrupted for more than three consecutive days, the Government reserves the right received compensation for the pro-rated amount for the period of unavailable services. The contract will be for a base year and four (4) one (1) year option periods. HOURS AND LOCATION OF OPERATION. The Contractor website and procured website and helpdesk will be available 24 hours per day/7 days per week to include holidays and weekends, for ease of access by Navy personnel worldwide. Navy personnel will contact the service provider’s office for that region, only when necessary. The preferred method of contact is email. Technical assistance help desk service will promptly attempt to resolve registrants’ service access difficulties during normal service provider’s operating hours.
