- Description
- The 96 Civil Engineering Group has a requirement to provide an Automatic Doors Service for Eglin Air Force, FL. Services are to include, but will not be limited to, the maintenance and repair of approximately 75 automatic doors located at Eglin Air Force Base FL, Duke Field FL and the V.A. Clinic in Shalimar FL. The basic performance period will begin 1 October 2009 through 30 September 2010. The contractor shall supply all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies and materials to support the above requirement. Service technicians will be American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers (AAADM) certified with three years of experience in maintaining and repairing multiple brands of automatic doors. The awardee must be able to respond to emergency service calls within four hours of notification. The government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract that will consist of the basic year with four one-year options. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. This will be a full and open acquisition using a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238290 with a size standard of $14.0 million dollars. The proposed issue date of the solicitation will be on or about 27 August 2009. The solicitation will not be distributed in hard copy. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the web page frequently and obtain the solicitation and any amendments or other information pertaining to this requirement. You will not be eligible to receive an award if your company is not registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at www.ccr.gov. This requirement is subject to the availability of funding.
