- Description
- Synopsis The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, administration, and services necessary to deliver and install a military shooting range bullet trap. The bullet trap is for building 1388 and will include: Total containment trap 128' wide, open throat, defectorless design, and impact places constructed of 3/8" AR500 steel. Screw conveyor system that provides a single point collection of spent bullets. Dust collection unit negative pressure airborne lead filtration system. A concrete pad, concrete/rebar/labor only measuring 128' x 24'-7-1/2". Finally, all labor, to include wage, travel, and rental equipment (if applicable) for the entire bullet containment system. All work to be performed will be in accordance with recommended manufacturer's commercial specifications. A copy of the building drawings depicting areas where equipment will be installed will provided to the contractor with the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 333319 and the small business size standard is 500. The contract will be a firm fixed price. This is a commercial acquisition; therefore, award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The solicitation will be issued via FedBizOps (FBO) on or about 31 August 2009. Any amendments will be posted on FBO as well. Paper copies of the solicitation and amendments will not be mailed. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award. Instructions for registering are available at the CCR website.
