- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase, on a sole source basis, the following item manufactured by Themis Computer: Quantity of 1, Part Number: 514-116473-001, Description: CS-3U Cool Shell Processor. Specific hardware has been approved to be used in developing computer programs for Aegis ships. This Themis processor is one such approved device. Only approved hardware can be used in order to ensure programs remain consistent at all Aegis development sites and ships. Therefore, only the specified item will meet the Government's requirements; no substitutions. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED ON THIS NOTICE.Electronic quote submission is required to Gloria H. Bryant@navy.mil. Due to expiring funds, the closing date will not be extended. Therefore, if there are any questions concerning RFQ N00178-09-Q-2148, contact me directly at 540-653-7805.The closing date for receipt of quotations is 10 am EDT on 31 August 2009.These items will be delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: Receiving Officer, 6220 Tisdale Road, ! Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Please reference RFQ N00178-09-Q-2148. All shipping charges must be included in the quote. Delivery is to be no later than 14 weeks after date of order. Award is anticipated on or before 03 Sep 2009.
