Description

The contractor shall perform regression and horizontal testing of MK 98 MOD 4 644 ROC1 software, MK 98 MOD 6 944 ROC2 and MK 98 MOD 7 842 ROC2 software for the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and deliver a final report. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
