- NASA/NSSC has a requirement for a 1 year license for Google Site Search productGSS-3M-12MO-STD, in order to upgrade current search capabilities to 3 million documentsfrom the Google.com index and execution of up to 15 million queries. The upgraded GoogleSite Search license will be used as part of an Agency-wide custom internet searchcapability for the NASA digital library initiative.The term of the license shall be September 1, 2009 - August 31, 2010. Delivery shall beFOB Destination.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005-36.The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 511210 and$25.0 Million respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status forthis procurement.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing to Libby Romaguera,e-mail: Libby.A.Romaguera@nasa.gov, no later than 11:00 am local time on Friday, August28, 2009. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release ofamendments (if any).
