- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award an IDIQ contract to Diehl Raytheon Missile Systeme LLC for the depot level repair/upgrade of AIM-9L Sidewinder Guidance Control Sections (GCSs) and refurbishment/upgrade of AIM-9M Sidewinder missile components for a one (1) year base period and four (4) option years. The contractor shall provide parts, material, services and data to test, analyze, and repair units, assemblies, subassemblies and components as required to return the units to serviceable condition. The effort will repair/upgrade 25 AIM-9L GCSs and refurbish/upgrade 40 AIM-9M missile components each year for a five (5) year period for Foreign Military Sales customers. The Diehl Raytheon Missile Systeme LLC is the only known source possessing the requisite technical knowledge, specialized experience, capability, tooling, and technical data to fulfill these requirements.
