- RECOVERY - ARRA. A Market survey is being conducted to determine the interest and capability of HUBZONE small business contractors for the following proposed project: Provide all tools, parts, equipment, labor and expertise necessary to procure and install: A wind turbine capable of 100KW volts or more and the base and foundation that the wind turbine will mount to. A solar wall of photovoltaic panels capable of 50KW per hour minimum output. This project is funded by THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (RECOVERY ACT). This requirement will be subject to the reporting requirements of The Recovery Act. Contract duration will be approximately 250 days and the estimated cost range is between $1,000,000. and $5,000,000. The NAICS is 237130 size standard is $33.5M. All interested HUBZone small business concerns should notify this office by e-mail on or before 10:00am Alaska time 18 September 2009. Responses should clearly identify your company as HUBZone certified by the SBA, any experience that is similar in size and scope to this project. With each similar project cited, provide the date the project was or will be completed, location of the project, and the portion of the project that your company performed. Please provide a statement showing which portion of this project your company, if a contract award does issue. Please note this is not a request for proposal and in no way constitutes any commitment by the Government. Any solicitation that may issue will be separate and will require separate communication instances.
