- Description
- The U.S. Department of the Treasury-Bureau of Engraving and Printing located at 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131-9000 has a need for replacing the existing 338 kva 270kw Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with a new equivalent UPS system connected in a dual-bus configuration to support critical electrical circuits and other security requirements, as part of the Western Facilities emergency power system. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material, supervision to install setup, startup, and testing of the new system for a complete turn key operation. The BEP intends to sole source this acquisition to Marvin Groves Electric Co., Inc., an 8(a) concern under Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.800 (b). The NAICS code is 238210, Size standard $14.0 millions. The Period of Performance is one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days. This is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Work will be performed in a factory environment which will remain operational during the project progress. The final solicitation will be available on www.fbo.gov on or about Wednesday 30 September 2009. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
