- RECOVERY - FFS Project-R6HZ TAS-14-0919-1610 - THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS BEING OFFERED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). FFS PROJECT NUMBER: R6PG THIS IS AN EMERGING SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. THIS RFP IS OPEN ONLY TO EMERGING SMALL BUSINESSES. AWARD WILL BE PROCESSED PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT: INSULATION FOR QUARTERS R-13 Fibergalss Blanket Insulation attached directly to exterior concrete basement walls W/pins. BidW/Flame spread Visqueen material (FSK) Barrier. Insulation will be installed at various quarters locations: Quarters #1, 1,250 Sq. Ft. Area Quarters 3, 908 Sw.Ft. AreaQuarters 9, 1,260 Sq Ft. AreaQuarters 12, 992 Sq. Ft. AreaQuarters 147, 1,290 Sq. Ft. AreaBunkkhouse, 800 St. Ft. Area LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE A. The location for this projects is at the National Elk Refuge, 675 E. Broadway, Jackson, WYoming. To make arragements for site vist, please call the Project Leader, at the National Elk Refuge, WY 83001, telephone number (307-733-9212 x324). B. Contractors are urged to visit the work sites and become familiar with existing conditions. Failure to ascertain the nature, location, and conditions which affect the work will not relieve the Contractor from the responsibility for successfully performing the work without additional expense to the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is under $30,000.00. The total performance PERIOD is 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is a smalll business set-aside Procurement. The NAICS code is 238310, Dryall & Insulation Contractors, and the size standard is $14 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about August 26, 2009 with an anticipated closing date of September 16, 2009. Copies of the Request for Proposal, can be obtained at http://www.fedbizopps.gov once available for issuance.
