- RECOVERY LAVERNE & NO SHIRLEY ATV TRAIL. This is a trail buiolding and stream channel restortation project. Work consists of restoring stream channesl to a natural state by removing fill and drainage structures at stream crossings and installing gradient control structures. ATV trail will be constructed through the restored channel sites which includes rock fords at the stream crossings. Also included is seeding of disturbed areas. The project cost estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance and Payment security will be required. Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the Forest Service. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the bidder will render a bidder ineligible for award. Bidders may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by call 888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http:www.ccr.gov//. The Forest Service intends to issue a solicitation for this project using FAR Part 13 procedures for Request For Quotations. The solicitation package for this project should be available approximately 9 September 2009 and will be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS website. It will contain all information necessary to formulate and submit a bid. This project will be partially or wholly funded under the American Recovery and Reconstruction Act of 2009 (http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?dbname=111_cong_bills&docid=f:h1enr.pdf). Interested offerors are encouraged to look at the required clauses and reporting requirements for projects funded under the Act.
