- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center San Diego Contracting Office intends to award a firm fixed price contract to purchase (1) each, Manufactured Boring Bar per drawing E97360. This shall be done in accordance with FAR part 13. The applicable NAICS: 333515, business size 500 employees. The Solicitation will be issued on or about (9/12/2009). This procurement is issued as restricted to small business. The Solicitation will be available for review and downloading at the following website: www.neco.navy.mil. The Government is seeking quotations for new material only. All material is required to be manufactured IAW with current Fleet Readiness Center South West drawings E97360. Directions on how to obtain the drawings will be made available with the Solicitation. Quality Assurance tests of the part shall be required during separate stages of the manufacturing process at the Delivery location. The only location that these tests will take place is at the delivery location. More than one test may be required. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by the Government. Standard commercial packaging and marking will be required. Delivery location is the Fleet Readiness Center South West, San Diego, CA 92135. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received by the closing date will be considered by the government. No telephone requests. Send all requests for solicitation package to nick.giacalone@navy.mil. Request must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, fax number, cage code, Tax ID number, Business size, county and DUNS number. Note 1 is applicable.
