- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is W90KNA-9209-6001 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Request for Quotes are due by 9 Sep 09, 1:00 p.m. Oregon Local Time. The RFQ will result in a firm fixed price contract. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238210. The United States Property and Fiscal Office of the Oregon Army National Guard is soliciting quotes t o procure the following supply or services: CLIN 0001 Audio Visual upgrade for Joint Operations Command Statement of Work Remove and reinstall Customer's projectors, modify ceiling grid to provide a 4in x 24' slot in ceiling, Install new Unistrut adjustable bracing system and 24' track to support projectors, install light shield on each side of track, reroute and dress cables. All work to be performed during regular business hours. Unless otherwise specified, the re-use of the buildings existing cables is authorized. The core if this system includes the installation of a 16 input by 8 output matrix switcher. This switcher only VGA video with following line level audio (i.e. audio can not be switched separately from video). The switcher will receive audio and video inputs from 4 existing desk PCs, 1 existing (aux) PC (from old quad screen), 1 new Quad screen PC, 1 new camera in ECC, 1 new local camera, and 1 audio output-only to the existing Sennheizer conferencing system. Any input and be connected to any recording devices, or anything outside the JOC. Please note the VGA resolution varies by devise; however the switcher is capable of up to 1920 x 1440. The audio signal from quad PC (E) will be attached to monitor (4) Ant the input that is selected to route to the (Sennheizer Audio) will be the audio that will be broadcasted throughout the JOC. One fixed color camera and microphone will be installed in ECC. The video signal will be split, one to a wall plate to one of the ECC wall TVs and the other will terminate into the matrix switcher. One fixed color camera will be installed in the JOC. The output signal will be split to the ECC and terminate on a wall plate and connect to one of the ECC wall TVs. And the other output will terminate into the matrix switcher thereby allowing the JOC to see the camera so it can be adjusted. A dedicated key operator power switch will be installed in the JOC for this camera. As part of this installation a new quad screen PC is included. It is the customers responsibility to provide and install any additional software not listed in this statement. All required cabling, splitters, amplifiers, converters, etc., are included in order to provide for a functioning system as described above. Bid Specification: Provide and install a NTI Veemux 16x8 matrix switcher via cat 5. Provide and install 4 cat 5 transmitters without audio, 8 transmitters with audio, 3 receivers with out audio and 5 receivers with audio. Connect to existing Projectors, TVs, PC,s and audio system as shown in the JOC Matrix Switcher diagram. Provide and install 1 fixed camera and microphone in the ECC, and 1 pan and tilt camera in the JOC and connect to switcher. Provide and install 1 dell PC Precision T3400 with Intel 9550 processor, 4 GB RAM, 500 Mb SATA 3 hard drive, Windows XP, 1-22in monitor, Nvidia NVS450 quad output video card, laser mouse, keyboard, speakers, Dell 3 year basic limited on-site warranty. Provide and install 21 cat 5e plenum cables and jacks and terminate to new patch panel in existing JOC data rack, and 1-1in conduit from the JOC to the ECC.
