- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for F5N3CE9210A001. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. This is a small business set-aside; The associated NAICS code 335110 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This RFQ contains brand name or equal specifications from Venture Lighting International, Inc. The descriptions are as follows: (CLIN 0001-AA) 50 each Seq 19098 Halophane Fluorescent Light Bulbs - Halophane TW350PP27PNF1 V22149 350W Pulse-Start Twin Ballast Single Housing with Sockets Prewired 277V with Protected Open Base Rated Venture Base Up 4K Lamp (CLIN 0002-AA) 112 each Venture MH350W/H75/T15/PS/740 Pulse-Start Lamp FOB Destination to Westover Air Reserve Base, Chicopee, MA 01022. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the offeror whose quote represents the best value to the government, considering price and price related factors.
