- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W52H09-08-D-5005. This notice is for a change order to remove and replace 8 boiler outlet flanges on Boilers 1 and 2. Subject project was awarded to Russell Construction Co. Inc. of Davenport, IA (DUNS 107374175) on firm fixed price task order W52H09-08-D-5005/0017 on June 3, 2009. During construction, it was discovered that the boiler outlet flanges are warped and the bolt holes are deformed. As a result they will not provide a postiive seal and should be replaced. The estimated price range of this change order is between $25,000 and $100,000. The change order will be awarded as a firm fixed price modification under task order 0017 under contract W52H09-08-D-5005. Contract W52H09-08-D-5005 was awarded under full and open competition with the use of best value source selection procedures to Russell Construction Co. Inc. of Davenport, Iowa on August 21, 2008. The design build and construction services proposed to be awarded under this contract include the type of work designated in this synopsis.
