- RECOVERY: The purpose of this work assignment is to obligate $3,700,000.00 for Atlantic Wood Industries under RAC II to implement and support a portion of the remedial action (RA) for the Atlantic Wood Industries Superfund Site in accordance with the Remedial Design (RD). The period of performance for this work is 8/24/09 to 7/31/2010. This work is to excavate contaminated soil, construct part of a dredged-sediment containment berm, and install a steel sheet pile in the Southern Branch of the Elizabeth River. The site is located in Portsmouth, Virginia.
