- Department of Veteran Affairs, Denver Acquisition & Logistic Center, 155 Van Gordon St. Rm 554, Lakewood CO 80228-1709 offers this sources sought for Mow and Trim services to be performed at Ft Gibson National Cemetery, Ft Gibson Oklahoma Description Denver Acquisition & Logistic Center, Lakewood CO, issues this sources sought notice to conduct market research and determine if there are commercial sources interested and capable of satisfying the requirement for Mow, String Trim, Blade Edge, and Pre and Post Emergent Herbicide Application services for Ft Gibson National Cemetery located at 1423 Cemetery Rd., Fort Gibson Oklahoma, 74434. This is not a request for a proposal at this time but a request to determine companies interested in performing these requirements. The NAICS code proposed is 561730. We are seeking the following information: Name, Address, Telephone Number, and your Company Classification: are you a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business; are you a Veteran Owned Small business; are you an 8(a) certified business; are you a Small Disadvantaged business; are you a women-owned business; are you a HUBZone small business; and any additional information you may wish to provide concerning your company's capabilities regarding this requirement. Description of Service: This is a performance-based contract for cemetery grounds maintenance services at Fort Gibson National Cemetery. The overall responsibility of the Contractor is to plan, coordinate, organize, manage, and perform the activities of "mowing and trimming" which are required to maintain a healthy and aesthetic appearance of the Cemetery grounds. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, supervision, professional expertise, vehicles, tools, materials, services, equipment and quality control necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed in a manner that will meet or exceed the requirements to maintain healthy grass and that presents a clean, neat, professional and aesthetic grounds appearance throughout the cemetery. Services include, but are not limited to, mowing, trimming, curb/sidewalk edging, removal of trash, leaves and debris, as well as sweeping or blowing off grass from sidewalks, roads and headstones.
