- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for the procurement of repair and maintenance services for agency-owned Canon Ir5055/Ir5570 copiers at numerous locations found throughout the nation. The contractor shall provide all of the necessary supervision, labor, materials and equipment required to service existing copiers as well as relocate copiers from agency premises. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 811212 with a size standard of $25 million. SSA anticipates awarding one firm, fixed-price, commercial items BPA with a base year and four option years for the needed service. This requirement will be procured utilizing procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. SSA anticipates the Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 28, 2009. The RFQ will be issued under solicitation number SSA-RFQ-10-1010 on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
